A small studio,
working slowly.

Frost Studio was started in 2017 in a single room in Antwerp, with one camera, one client, and the belief that good marketing is mostly the result of paying attention.
Nine years later we are still small — three creatives, one producer, and an extended family of stylists, retouchers, and printers we call when we need them. We take on six to eight long projects a year. Anything more and we'd start making average pictures.
We work in two registers: the quiet brand work of identity, naming, and voice — and the more cinematic work of campaigns, lookbooks and films. The two halves teach each other — a brand book that holds up under a 60×90 print; a print that earns a second look.
We are based in Antwerp and work across Belgium and the Netherlands. Most projects sit within a 90-kilometre radius. A few have travelled further, when the brief was too good to refuse.
A Principles
Five things we hold to.
Brief before sketch.
No campaign begins on a moodboard. We listen for an afternoon, write it down, and read it back to you before any pencil moves.
One voice across the project.
The team that shapes the brand is the team that takes the pictures. No briefing two studios, no telephone game.
Honest pictures, fewer of them.
Real light, real rooms, real people. We try to leave the plastic gloss out — and to leave fashion at the door.
A fixed fee, a fixed scope.
No hourly billing on commissions. We agree what we'll do and what it costs, in writing, before the second meeting.
Build slowly, build once.
A brand should outlast its launch campaign. We design, specify, and document so the system still reads well in five years.
